Chapter 5 Episode 1
I was observing the situation in the town from the window.
Town folk:
"It's the grace of the dragon god!!"
Akane:
"Well, well! From the morning the town is abuzz with talk of the dragon god!"
Town folk:
"The dragon god stole the village headman's money and gave it back to us! It seems that the village headman's warehouse is now completely empty! Now we can feed our families really well with this!"

Goemon:

"Also, weapons were already delivered to Nobukatsu's castle."

Master Goemon starts tickling my body with both hands!
Akane:

Goemon:

Akane:
"The wind is so strong today."
Sitting on the veranda, I was looking at the sky.
Goemon:

Samurai1:
"F- fire!!!"
The samurai noticed the fire and the inside of the castle became uproarious.
Samurai2:
"Danger! Quickly extinguish the fire!"
Samurai1:
"Water! Bring water!"
The inside of the castle is a big mess... But where is Master Goemon?!
Goemon:
"An order from Lord Nobukatsu! Move the arquebuses before they catch fire!"
Was that Master Goemon's voice...?!
"Quickly load the arquebuses on this carriage!"
Is he planning to carry the arquebuses out with a carriage?! But what if fire carches onto the arquebuses before he can escape...!
Bang!!
Akane:
"Argh!"
A sudden gush of wind blew and I hurriedly clung to the tree.
Akane:
"Master Goemon!"
I got off the tree and ran to Master Goemon.
"I've got great presents for Iga!"
Akane:
"I'm glad you are safe..."
"This is like piece of cake for me."
Indeed. As always, his expression is relaxed... And then,

"Please! Let me go!"

Samurai1:

Most of the castle is engulfed by flames... Master Goemon, hurry back!

Master Goemon got out of the castle holding the baby!
"Relax, the baby is fine."

"Th- thank you so much! How can I express my gratitude...!"
Goemon:
"I don't need thanks, just get out of here quickly."
Master Goemon gave them the baby and got back into the bushes.
"Cough... I'm full of soot and my handsomeness is ruined."
Akane:
"....."
"What's your problem?"

Akane:
"I thought that you died... Sob, sob..."
"Fool, don't kill me so easily."
Akane:
"Sob... sob..."
As I saw his face, I relaxed and tears began flowing without stopping...
Goemon:
"Damn... You are really such a crybaby. Damn..."
Master Goemon hugs me gently...
"I won't leave you and die, Akane... You need me, right?"
Akane:
"Sniff... sob..."
Tears fall down my cheeks... I want him to be close to me. Even only a mission.

"You can cry as much as you want later. But now, control yourself."
Master Goemon lifted me and put me on the carriage.
"We're going back to Iga. Master Hanzo is awaiting us eagerly."
Master Goemon whipped the horse and the carriage started moving.

I was staring at his profile all this time. I just thought this from the bottom of my heart - I don't want to lose him.
(I, ... him...)
At that moment he muttered with a sign.
"Don't say anything now."
Akane:
"...Huh?"
Goemon:
"I told you, right? Don't let your emotions take over."
Akane:
"....."
Has he figured out my feelings? Also, I wonder if this feeling will last forever...?
Mail:
Subject: Geez...
Dammit, my body's still all sooty. I should've made you wash it off. We'll arrive at Iga tomorrow morning. You'd better not think this is gonna be a holiday!
